Saranmoyee Kar is an accomplished development professional with over a decade of experience in community mobilization, women’s empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and natural resource management. She has led transformative initiatives across tribal and underserved communities in West Bengal, fostering livelihood promotion, gender equity, and inclusive decision-making.
She has worked with PRADAN, focusing on women’s leadership, livelihood promotion, and sustainable agricultural initiatives, and with Graphite India Limited, driving community education, vocational training, and inclusive awareness programs, including initiatives for youth and autism awareness.
Saranmoyee is recognized for her exceptional academic achievement’s laurels in her university. A gender auditor and action-research practitioner, she has published work on women’s empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and social inclusion. She is passionate about grassroots innovation, systemic change, and fostering equitable, resilient communities through participatory planning and sustainable livelihood solutions.
