Roli Dwivedi is a development professional with expertise in knowledge management, policy research, and social and behaviour change communication (SBCC). She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati and has qualified the UGC–NET in Sociology.
Her professional experience spans policy advocacy, research, programme implementation support, and capacity building, with a strong emphasis on working alongside government systems, community institutions, and civil society networks. She has been actively engaged in national- and state-level initiatives across sectors such as poverty alleviation, livelihoods, health, and social inclusion.
She has led knowledge management and documentation for large-scale government programmes, including field-based initiatives and learning exchanges. Her work includes documenting programme design and implementation, capturing field insights, preparing analytical and descriptive reports, developing knowledge products for diverse audiences and supporting learning visits for national and international stakeholders.
She has also undertaken research and evaluation assignments across themes such as livelihoods, gender, health systems, and vulnerability, supporting monitoring and evaluation processes through qualitative and quantitative studies. She has coordinated closely with government officials, field teams, and community cadres to support effective programme implementation and knowledge dissemination.
Her core competencies include research and analysis, programme documentation, report writing, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder coordination, and knowledge management. She is proficient in a range of qualitative and quantitative research tools and data analysis software, and is fluent in English and Hindi, with a basic working knowledge of Marathi.
