Nilanjana holds a master’s degree in social work with a specialization in Community Development and brings over 16+ years of extensive experience across livelihoods, skill development, education, child protection, and anti-human trafficking. Her professional journey spans national and international organizations, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Nilanjana served as Grants Manager at Child Rights & You (CRY) India, managing multi-regional CSR and institutional grants across all four operational regions. Her role encompassed end-to-end grant lifecycle management, financial tracking, program quality review, data analysis, and ensuring compliance with donor reporting timelines.

Previously, as a Social Sector Consultant with Better World Initiative (BWI)—a CSR initiative of Genpact—Nilanjana partnered with non-profits to redesign processes, develop Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks, establish SOPs, and strengthen governance systems. Leveraging Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Design Thinking (DT) tools, she supported agro-based women-led Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in streamlining and reengineering B2B supply chain models across Madhya Pradesh, enhancing operational efficiency and market linkages. Her work received recognition, including the “Best Project of the Year” awards in 2020 and 2021 for education M&E and FPO supply chain transformation.

With strong expertise in grant management, training design, monitoring and evaluation, research, and advocacy, Nilanjana has led impactful capacity-building initiatives grounded in rights-based and inclusive approaches. Her commitment to social justice, integrity, and ability to work in challenging contexts position her as a credible trainer and resource person on child protection issues.
